Who buys anything they don’t want or need?
If you recomend/ like something that I’ll use AND it brings you 10 cents I’ll use your link.
Everytime!
People support you because they find great value in the service you provide.
AND…
If I had 10 cents for every person I told about DTB……I ‘d be…. well… half way to a Mickey ice crram pop.
So don’t get prissy with me young fella.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll nevertheless say it again: please do not buy anything just to support the site. It’s appreciated when you click through the links here to purchase things you need, but I want to emphasize the following:

1) Affiliate revenue rates are incredibly low. I’m not sure what, exactly, it is for this book, but I’m guessing we make around 10 cents per sale. The reason I review books like this and other products is to spread the good word–not for affiliate revenue. (Precisely why you will almost never see a negative product review on this site. If I don’t like something, which is often, I simply don’t bother wasting my or your time with a review.)
2) I don’t want anyone buying stuff they don’t actually want or need. That feels antithetical to being (IMO) a consumer resource largely aimed at saving people money on Disney trips.
2) Reading the site is support enough. Beyond that, it’s much more valuable if you spread the good word about DTB, sharing posts with family and friends or recommending it.

Tom, I found your site in a way similar to Cliff S. In 2018, I was planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to WDW and was looking for a map showing the best location to view the fireworks. I ended up here. I found everything I needed for the trip, but keep coming back because I love how your balanced, accurate writing. You offer praise to Disney when they hit it out of the park, but also fairly criticize them when they drop the ball. Such a contrast to much of the Disney content online, which is often self-serving, sensational, and full of clickbait. Thanks for the great content!

I totally agree on the cover.
It reminds me of those Disney tips, tricks and hacks books. In fact my fading memory vaguely remembers a book with a super similar cover.
I’ll have to check my library sometime.

1) You like it.
2) Buying it supports you.
I don’t know how many times I have to tell you this but you see a need then fill it.
You want a book on DCA? Write it.
you’ve got an audience.
You’ve built the base.
Grow it.

I haven’t read Merritt’s other books, but good to hear they’re also fantastic. Glad you mentioned Hahn’s other niche gem, Yesterday’s Tomorrow: Disney’s Magical Mid-Century. That’s a fantastic book that, like the gigantic Marc Davis title, is very tailored to my personal interests.
