I wanted to love Soarin Across America, but it missed the marked for me. Yes, there are a few cool parts and if you are able to check it out, do. Hopefully, your expectation will be met. On that note, it is still a must do attraction for me.

My husband and I said the same thing! Where is the Midwest and Great Lakes representation? Mackinac Bridge would have been awesome!

That’s like a retro nod to Disney Parks past. I forget when, maybe in the 90’s, it seemed like a cliche for Disney attractions to show a rocket launch. I’m trying to think of what show had a rocket launch on 3 screens that were then drawn back. Maybe that was an earlier version of Hall of Presidents & the screens were peeled back to reveal the presidents. Another attraction may have been the OG Universe of Energy. I do remember at least some animation in the climax of a little girl with her family & then she grows up to be an astronaut. There was the old Mission to Mars in Tomorrowland about taking a rocket trip to that planet.

For what it’s worth, my train loving spouse thought the paint scheme matches the Branson Railroad.

This country has so much more to offer and showcase than and swamp and cows. Beautiful ciast to coast city architecture, bridges, the night lights of Vegas, its PEOPLE. Ethnic neighborhoods, bread basket farmlands, orchards, sport team wins. How about paying homage to our service members who gave their life so this country could survive to 250 with a shot of Arlington? And how about seeing a 250 somewhere??? Sign me up for the focus group first 4.0. There was one shot to get this right for this massive anniversary. This was a real chance for Disney to have stood up and for the USA and make all Americans proud to be Americans. Sadly 3.0 missed the mark. There were no cheers, claps, chants from the audience on 5/22, signifying their unapologetic pride to be an American during this special year. Just silence as all departed the theater, and that’s sad.
