As always Tom thanks for the detailed writeup. It’s very encouraging to hear that Disney have tried to go the extra mile to make the re-theme as best as it could possibly be.

I completely agree with your assessment that Disney should never have got rid of Muppets 3D in the first place. It was a timeless attraction that everyone regardless of age could enjoy.

While I was pleased that they didn’t eradicate the muppets from Hollywood Studios completely and Rock N Roller Coaster was an obvious choice to re-theme, going from a very family friendly attraction to what is regarded as the most intensive rollercoaster in all of Disney World does limit the audience somewhat.

However I also cling to your assessment that if and when the planets align we might still get more muppets in the future. Another olive branch would be to simply green light a full run of the recent special of the show!

On another note Tom are you going to do a write up on the Big Thunder Rail Road refresh? Keen to hear your thoughts on that,

I love how much you love the Muppets, Tom! I am so happy that this ride will hopefully introduce them to some new fans and appeal to young and old fans alike. I hope if this ride is a big success that it encourages the Disney brass to come up with more Muppets material. A new courtyard would be awesome!

I agree completely.
I have had 2 heart surgeries since I last rode R&RC, and cannot ride any rides like that anymore.
MuppetVision 3D was perfect and fine for people with heart conditions.
I will really miss the beloved Muppets.

o I was waiting for you to review this. I’m here right now debating on trying to get a ride in on preview. but wasn’t sure. now I think I’m going to. curious mind wants to know. did you get to hang out with John stamos like my one friend who is a influencer there with her kids.
