Single riders have been a new found love for us. We like to hit the park early and experience every ride we can as a family the first few hours. When the crowds and temperatures rise midday the teens/YAs all hit the single rider rides while we sit in the shade or stake out our seats for a show. The teens/YAs all hop between shows with us and single rider attractions. Then when the evenings hit and crowds lighten up again we spend time redoing rides all together. It is a great rhythm for us as our teens/YAs have so much energy and enjoy being in the park open to close, but as parents we enjoy slowing down and recharging in the middle.

My daughter and I use them regularly if the wait time is too long. My husband isn’t a huge coaster fan so he usually sits them out altogether. Has anyone been in the single rider line since the group implementation has happened at Everest? I’m wondering if you e noticed a huge difference in wait time?

They have a modified single rider line toward the end of the standby line where single riders divert into their own line. Can shave 10-15 minutes off the wait time.

I like to do the Rise single rider as my second ride. That way you make sure you get the preshow experience the first time. I’ve never had to wait long in Rise single rider, though I’ve also never gone to Hollywood Studios on a super busy day.

We normally ride Everest as a family if the wait is less than 15 minutes and move to single riders afterwards a few more times. We get the best of both worlds. I would not want to do it for Rise. As you said, the pre-show is a bid part of the experience.
